Delete your Datev0 account

You can delete your Datev0 account and the personal data linked to it at any time. There are two ways to do it. You do not need to give a reason.
Option A — In the app
- Open Datev0 and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and deletion begins.
Option B — By email
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, send a request from the phone number or email address registered on your account to privacy@datev0.com with the subject line "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm a login code sent to that number or address so that nobody else can delete your account. We acknowledge every request within 72 hours.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, gender, date of birth, language, interests and photos.
- Your login details (phone number or email).
- All chat messages you sent and received, and your connections.
- Your call history.
- Your coin balance and coin transaction history.
- All Companion memories generated from your conversations.
Timing and what may be kept
Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request. During that window your account is inactive and not visible to other users. After the window your data is permanently erased from our systems and those of our processors.
The only records we keep are those we are legally required to retain, such as payment records (once purchases launch) and records connected to a safety report or a legal request. These are held only for as long as the law requires and are not used for any other purpose.
Remaining coins are forfeited when you delete your account. Coins have no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred.
